Chess Club 

The mission of our Chess Club is to help students develop the skills necessary for success in school and in life through learning chess. Chess teaches critical thinking, perseverance, and concentration among other skills. The chess club runs weekly on Wednesdays in the Woodwork room with Mr Regan and Ms Quinn. Our Chess teams visit other schools and enter school competitions. In 2022, our Senior and Junior chess teams came 1st and 2nd in the Midlands schools Chess Tournament and the Longford School's Chess Tournament.
